"Can you put me down for a sec, please? I think i can walk okay."
Jesse had continued to walk through the forest without looking back. His top priority was to get Miss Mitchell to safety first. He knew she probably didn't had anything, but still. With one spider hanging around that place, meant that there were others as well, so they had to get out of there fast. Looking at her with his blue eyes he gently put her down so she could walk on her own.
Once he had put her down, they were close to the edge already and suddenly she hugged him. Jesse hadn't expected that and he had never been in a situation like this, that a teacher had hugged him. But he gently hugged her back a little.
"Shall we wander down to the lake?"
"Only if you're sure that you're okay" Jesse said as he looked at her.

Ethel smiled happily. "I'm alright. Come on, there's this really nice bit." She showed the way round the lawns to a quiet part of the lake. Round a corner a large tree leant out over the lake, leaves shimmering in the wind. Ethel slipped off her shoes, sat on the bank, and dipped her toes in clear rippling water. "Found this bit of Hogwarts yet?" she giggled. "It's not visible from the castle because of the forest"
ooc: kinda messing up the geography of the place here...

ooc: lol "I'm alright. Come on, there's this really nice bit."Jesse hoped that she was telling the truth when she said that she was alright. It always had been one of his habits to help girls when they were in trouble, even though he wasn't the kind guy you would suspect to be some sort knight in shining armor. He was a Slytherin after all. He followed her, still unsure of the whole situation, but it seemed that whatever lived in these forests didn't dare to leave it. "Found this bit of Hogwarts yet?""Can't say I have" Jesse said looking at the place. It was a beautifull spot, probably one of the finest around Hogwarts Grounds and he coudln't help but smile. Watching how Ethel slipped off her shoes, dipping her feet in the water, he looked at her as he was leaning against the tree.

"It's not quite so lively here, but i like the serenity of it all." Ethel skimmed a stone across the lake, then chanced glancing at Jesse in an attempt to learn more about him. Catching his eye, she cursed inwardly and blushed, bewildered as to what he was thinking. He seemed more mature than xth years usually were... He'd even found a way of making the uniform look elegantly trendy. Casting a mental eye over her own comparatively shabby robes made her feel increasingly inferior
Clutching at straws, she said in what she hoped was an offhand tone, "Have you played Quidditch at all?" She forced herself not to look at him, not to be too friendly. Imagine if she had to teach him somethime...

"Have you played Quidditch at all?
He heard her ask this question, not the first question that came to his mind, but Quidditch was quite a big thing here in the wizard world. When he was new to all this, magic and that kind of stuff, he quickly learned about Quidditch and he absolutely loved it. Flying on its own had been a big interest for Jesse, but the moment he had learned that there was a sport around this, he was sold.
He had bought a broom, not the best one, he didn't have that much money, but still a decent one. A Cleansweap 14, it wasn't the fastest one around, but it had a very good handling. Off course he hoped to one day play in the Slytherin Quidditch team, but no places had been available so far.
"I haven't been in an actual game, if thats what you're asking" Jesse said, his blue eyes turning back to her "But I know how to fly and I know the rules".
