Welcome to the Great Hall. A large chamber with an enchanted ceiling that mirrors the sky outside. There are four large tables, one for each House, and also a large staff table that sits facing the rest of the tables and Hall.

A small simple room located off of the entrance hall. Here all first years wait here until they are called to be sorted.

Located off the entrance hall is the staff room. A long room, it houses chairs, tables, and an old wardrobe that is occasionally inhabited by a boggart.

Only Professors are allowd to come inside.

No New Posts Broom Cupboard

Not the only one in the castle, this Broom cupboard is located in the Entrance Hall. It has been used for many different things other than brooms. Students have been known to have locked others inside.

Filch's office is a small room with a single oil lamping hanging from the ceiling. It smells of fried fish. In it are filing cabinets with details of the misdeeds of students.

Board Description
The Entrance Hall
Large, double Oak doors open to a large, cavernous room. Although dimly lit by torches, this room is host to the House Points hourglasses, a marble staircase and many doors leading to other areas of the castle.

The new term has started, you are qued before the doors of the Great Hall, ready to get sorted, excitment is flushing in your veins. The Great Hall gate will open any moment now.
