Shadow hummed to himself as he sat back in the chair looking thoughtfully towards a woman to the side, she had dark black hair and tight clothes on her slim framed body. all of her clothes where black, she was even wearing thick black fish net leggings, her eyes so beatifully blue. clashed and hidden mostly with the thickest black eye liner he'd ever seen. a prositute?" he wondered, would anyone miss one of those? she had just payed cash for a meal and for a girl with such little body, was wofing down a lot of ood. obviously she was hungrey. he debated for a long time eyesing her, he wanted something fresh to sink his fangs into and enjoy. the woman soon got up and left walking her spunky short skirt swayed side to side and Shadow rose form his seat making his way through a crowd following her. For a momen he thought he lost her outside in the cool brisk night, but his black/brown rimmed eyes spotted the girls hair and soon he followed her, finally catching up he grabbed her before she turned the corner. not looking er drgged her into a near by alley and hissed. aboutt o bite when he sae her, the wrong girl! his fangs where large and full of posien ready to bite and kill the victum, but he forced them down and held a hand over the girl to stop her form scremaing and dragged her further into the alley way intot he darkness behind.

Leeda entered the dark street, hugging her arms around her chest as she felt the cold, dank air. She walked slowly, delicately, with her ears tuned into her surroundings. It was deserted, just as they'd planned. She flipped the black wig out of her eyes, which were hard to recognize beneath a load of heavy make-up. It was way more than she was used to wearing, and she could see it whenever she looked down. "Gross," she muttered under her breath.
Quickly, her mind flashed back to a talk she'd had the first night upon arriving at her Australian uncle's house for a two week vacation. "Leeda, as you know I work for the Australian Wizard's Ministry." "Yes Uncle, you've told me." Her uncle stopped looking out the window and sat down across from her, meeting her curious brown eyes. "I've never told you the department though, have I?" She shook her head. "No, Uncle Barlow. You never let me know when I ask." He nodded. "Well, there's a specific reason for that Leeda. You see, I belong to a very secretive department: The Department of Vampire Control." Leeda's eyes widened. "Yes, my dear. The work's been slow for awhile, but not any more. Recently, there's been an unpredicted outbreak of vampire attacks in the streets of Sydney. My boss has asked me to help, and we've both agreed you can be of assistance. I've told him how smart of a young girl you are." Leeda blushed and said, "But how can I help?" Her uncle leaned forward. "We need a target, Leeda. A young woman appealing to vampires, one that has the smarts to out smart them." Leeda shook her head and looked down. "Oh no, I couldn't possibly...I mean, vampires are so wicked." Her uncle smiled. "Don't worry. We'll disguise you, and the Ministry has created an antivampire potion. Just drink it, and you cannot be harmed for twenty four hours." Leeda shifted uncomfortably and toyed with the idea for a long moment before replying in a hesitant voice, "Well, I would like to help clear Sydney of its problem...So, as long as you're sure I won't be harmed, I'll do it." "Great!" her uncle stood. "I'll bring you to work with me tomorrow and go over the plan."
Leeda could hear quick footsteps behind her. She quickly pulled out a vial and downed its contents. It tasted like a mix of vinegar and tomatoes. "Yuck!" She wiped off her mouth and stiffened her body as the vampire came up behind her. He spun her and looked into her eyes, fangs ready. Then, there was a brief moment of surprise in his eyes. Leeda had it too, for she knew the boy was a Slytherin from Hogwarts. She wondered if he recognized her beneath the wig and eye make up.
Suddenly, she was being drug away from the street and into an even chillier alley. She stuggled and screamed for effect as his hand clamped over her mouth. Why hasn't he tried to bite me yet? she wondered. She knew that the Ministry was nearby if she couldn't handle the job on her own...Leeda closed her eyes and waited for the worst to happen, wondering if he would do more than bite.

Shadow stared at her, he knew those bright blue eyes, and her scent. it might be odd with the tint of wat seemed tomattoos and vinega, he wondered why...but he could tell intantly who it was. "Leeda..." his pale hand was still over her mouth, he examinied her, she was the first one ot had frozen stiff when he grabbed her, he wondered...this was to easy, and he couldn't have someone from Hogwarts. he stared at her silently shocked for a moment. his ears where searching...yes he could hear them...
"I'm not a bad Vampire Leeda, you shouldn't be trying to hunt me down when I havn't done anything wrong." he frowned at her, why were the ministry after him...did they know he had a relationship with a human at Hogwarts? well that dind't matter anymore because John was dead...not his fault fcourse...but still, maybe they knew of them and thought he had done something to do with the death? This had been a worrey to Shadow...he stared at Leeda for another few seconds. "Your scared...good, maybe it'll look more convincing." he muttered grabbing Leeda hand he pulled her form the alley and stld holding her tightly. "Ok guys if you wanted to talk how about sending me a professtinal not a little girl?!" he yelled out in a random direction not sure where the ministy would be somewhere. he held onto leedas hand tightly.
