Character Name: Abigail Woods
Blood Line: half
Character Appearance: Looks:
Eyes: Abigail has hazel eyes, but the light brings out their green hues.
Hair: Her hair is naturally very curly and deep chesnut brown, she conciders it one of her best features.
General Apperance: Abigail is tall and slender with pale, flawless skin and rosy cheeks. She tends to go light with makeup, not caking it on like some girls her age who enjoy over experimenting with make-up.
Dressing Style: Abigail wouldn't really mind throwing on whatever's clean, but her mother insists on dressing her in the chicest clothes she buys from only the best stores, something Abigail finds ridiculous, but she doesn't have much of a choice. To some, she may look like a fashion concious snob, but Abigail would much prefer to wear something casual and comfortable.
About the Character: First Name: Abigail
Last Name: Woods
Heritage(Half blood, pureblood, etc.): Halfblood
Nationality:British
Spoken Languages: English
Place of Birth: Hertfordshire, England
Position: Student
Age/Date of Birth: 14/April 20, 1994
Personality:
General Character Traits: Abigail is very friendly for the most part, but she also can be very stubborn and sarcastic, mostly only around those she does not like or trust. Around those who are very egotistical, especially arrogant boys trying to capture her attention, Abigail is known to make a sarcastic jab, or simply blow them off, but really she does it to protect herself from getting hurt.
But overall, Abigail is very kind, and certainly honest, but not in a dumb way; she knows when a lie is absolutely necessary and will lie without a second thought to protect a friend.
Tied all together with her different quirks, Abigail is usually the girl that can be found with a great big smile on her face, although it isn't always real, for she has many thoughts and emotions to keep hidden and to never be revealed.
Likes: Abigail tends to be good at whatever she enjoys doing. For as long as she could remember, Abigail has been singing, something she loves to do but never allows anyone to hear her, for her mother tells her it's stupid and a useless waste of time. Abigail also is very talented when it comes to her magical studies. She takes pleasure in them and has little trouble exceeding expectations when it comes to her studies.
Dislikes: Although Abigail is a very outgoing and fun person to have around, she sometimes has trouble trusting others after her and her mother were left by her father before she was born. Secretly, Abigail is afraid of it happening again.
Habits/Mannerisms: When nervous, she tends to talk way too much and very quickly.

Background Story: Abigail's family history is a rather strange one, but sadly to be said isn't exactly an uncommon one. Abigail was born when her mother was only eighteen years of age, she was an accident, a thought that kills her to think about. Horrified and not wanting to accept the responsibility, her father left her mother in her time of need; Abigail's mother wasn't exactly thrilled either, having to throw her future away to bring another person into the world--another witch into the world.
Abigail's mother raised her in the most exquisite home, the best clothes, and around the high society; but it wasn't what Abigail wanted. Her mother never even cared about what she wanted, because having Abigail at such a young age took away her future from her, causing her to live her life through her daughter, Abigail.
Finally, she came to an escape. When Abigail turned eleven years of age, her mother told her the biggest secret she could possibly imagine; she was a witch and was to start training her magic at Hogwarts. It was the day that changed her life.

RP response(Show us what you've got!): Abigail sat in the car, staring out the window anxiously, as the scenery seemed to pass by not quick enough. Most children would be feeling homesick if they had been in Abigail's place, but she wasn't. As much as it pained her to know, her mother wouldn't really miss her. In fact, she would most likely be pleased to have her gone and be able to begin the life she had never really been able to have. And perhaps Abigail would as well, having to live her mother's life for her all these years. Now that she was physically about to leave, the nerves finally began to get to her. What would it be like? Would she make friends or would no one like her? Would she be good at magic, having never done it before, or would she fail pathetically? All these thoughts ran through her head at a rapid and overwhelming pace. Suddenly, the car came to a halt, her door being opened by their driver. As Abigail stepped out of the car, her mother came around. For a moment the two simply stared at one another. Finally, her mother broke into a false grin, "Well, you are going to say goodbye aren't you?", she asked. Abigail shrugged, "Yes, I suppose, goodbye mother.", she responded as she took her baggage and began to walk towards the platform, without looking back once, only looking forward toward her future.
