The Slytherin boy had absolutely nothing on his mind that evening except getting out of the castle and away from the teacher's prying eyes.
I was sorely mistaken when I thought this would be good for me... I already know twice the things that these bumbling fools are trying to teach! Curse the ministry of magic and their standards!!
His inner thoughts and musings were interrupted by the soft step of another in the Courtyard.

Shadow looked up and craned his head behind him to see the newcomer having heard the sound of there heart beat.

Nothing was going on, the school was alseep, the lights were of and Jerica had no idea why she was wandering out of the castle walls. Soon enough she found her self in a place she hadnt ventured before. All she could make out was the soft sound of a ticking clock. it must have been the courtyard by the clock tower.
she walked softly, her steps short and gentle, but at the same time it was like she was running from school itself since truthfully classes were dull, and she didnt like sitting around and doing nothing durning them.

Jer had thought she was alone, she was very mistaken, when a lone figure turned as if he or she had herd her coming. how she didnt know how.

"hello, is that someone" jerica asked with question in her voice, who would be out now she thought

Shadow closed his eyes, there was no privacy in this schoool there was always someone when youi least wanted the company, Shadow neve took company if you watched him you'd notice there was always a large gap between himself and others.
and the smell of fear. fear that he'd come and get then when all the lights where off and it was time to feed.
the half mood shinned above making his fet black hair have a slight silvery glow.

"Someone is here." he said back voice stuck in a bored tone.

As jer waited for a reply she took a few steps closer, not that anyone out at this time of night wanted company, but she was not the kind of person to leave a conversation half open.
someone is here.the tone was bored, and empty but there was something about the way the boy responded to her that drew her in, she had almost known the feeling before, it was the mystery of not knowing, jerica liked her mysteries, and at hogwarts they always seemed to find.

"well thats good to know, you running from the school too?" jer's thing wasnt small talk to strangers in the dark, but she didnt know what else to say, he still hid in the shadows

"well thats good to know, you running from the school too?"
Shadow shrugge in the dark,
"I had tried, turns out I have failed in doing so." he replied back,
"Hmm...funny you used the word running, that seemed like the only thing i'm good at anymore...running."
Shadow sighed heavily thinking back in his memoires. running away from his life, running away from what little family he had, running away from everyone.

Shadow looked up at the moon a litlte longer studying it's shape and texture, it looked rougher with it's silvery glow in some places and smooth whitish glow in others. the moon truly a admazing sight. Shadow thought before tunring looking at the girl for the first time.
his sight was perfect in the dark and he met a averagly beatiful girl with wavey brown hair.
"hmm.."

Jerica listened to him talk, it seemed there was more to him then met the eye, then again she couldnt really see him, all she could she was his back and his hair glowing lightly as the moon hit it. I had tried, turns out I have failed in doing so.Hmm...funny you used the word running, that seemed like the only thing i'm good at anymore...running. she couldnt help but feel a little at fault for him not being able to run from it all tonight.

"sorry about that quess its my fault you couldnt run tonight, im more of a night person myself but iv never ran into anyone out here before" jerica smiled a little company was good, sometimes.

it seemed that the moon was in the perfect spot, from where they were both standing you could see all of it that was present that night, it glowed richer then jer had seen in a while. thats when she noticed the movement, he turned around. pushing her hair out of her eyes she tried to focus better, talk dark and handsome she thought.

"so he does have a face" jerica smirked as she steped closer. "oh and im pretty sure your good at more then just running, everyone is good at running"

"sorry about that quess its my fault you couldnt run tonight, im more of a night person myself but iv never ran into anyone out here before"
"Oh so we share the passione." Shadow murmered staring at her(i'm gunna guess) chest nut brown eyes. they shown brightly for the darkish tone. veyr pritty he thought but dind't smile. his face was plan as if bored.


"so he does have a face" . "oh and im pretty sure your good at more then just running, everyone is good at running"
The girl stepped towards him, Shadow resited the urge to move back, moveback and hide his face,
"Shadow." he muttered giving out his first name, Shadows fingers twitched as he gair revieled a slgiht bit of her neck, he could see the rushing blood under nieth the smooth pale skin.
"GUess it's hiding thats the trick." he shrugged and then took a step back into the shadows more.
