Koyal frowned when she did not get answer for her question. She was about to repeat the question when she heard the crack. For a second, she wondered what was that before she realized what it must be. She shuddered slightly as the creature screamed. Walking with a vampire had its demerits, she should have thought. Was the business he was talking about that? He wanted to drink blood from creatures living inside the forest. She tried not to imagine him, with his fangs out, killing an animal. The idea was too gross and frightening too.
“I don’t believe I caught your name. I’m Shadow Cooper.”
"K.Koyal.. Raichand," she said, trying to sound calmer than she felt.

Shadow didn't look at her, he kept his dark black eeys with a thin brown strip around them. directed stright ahead. K...Koyal Raichand He smiled at her 'brave' attempt to sound proud or bold or what ever. Shadow wasn't very good with emotion. but he knew she was nervous or frightened by being near him, by listening to the sound of her heart beating so hard. "Raichand huh..." he paused a moment thinking,"I think i know a Raichand, good Vampire." he licked his lips thoughtfully. "Oh wait not thats a rick-man, my bad." he shook his head to stop himself from bablling, Koyal wouldn't want to listen to him babble. he stepped over a fallen log, and as snering as he can be. Shadow couldn't help being the gental man typ he paused to look back at her and hold out a hand offering help.

Koyal suddenly forgot she was afraid or disgusted by the sound of animal's neck cracking as Shadow mentioned a vampire who was named Raichand as well. "We can't be related, he probably just have similar last name; the copy cat!" she began but Shadow had remembered it was Rickman, not Raichand. "Said so.." she muttered. Somehow, she had regained her proud tone. Maybe it was because she had told herself she should think she was lucky that it had been that animal's neck and not hers, and also she told herself not to think about Shadow killing any other animals now. She will face the situation when it comes. It was no point worrying from now.
She was surprised as he held out his hand to help her. "Thank you," she said, taking his hand and stepping over the log. Considering it as a sort of friendly behavior, she felt much more calm now. "You often come to this forest?" she asked, and she thought he must did. He was a vampire and definitely needed blood to survive. And there was no point he was taking human blood, otherwise he wouldn't be allowed in the school. "Isn't this place a bit creepy?" she said, "And all these fallen logs and over grown branches and stuff.. isn't all that irritating? I mean, see how many scratches I have got in little time. And its lucky I have not fallen down again after I did first time." She realized she was still holding the crumpled letter in her hand. She smoothed it out and carefully folded it before tucking it inside her pocket. She decided to keep it as an evidence against her stepmother when she will finally see her father this summer. "So exactly where are we heading?" she started speaking once more, "And how long it will take to go back to Hogwarts?" Then she quickly added, "No, I am not complaining. I know I should be grateful and I am that you are helping me. But just out of curiosity, how long will it take?"

"You often come to this forest?" “Yes.” He replied nodding patiently, "Isn't this place a bit creepy?", "And all these fallen logs and over grown branches and stuff.. isn't all that irritating? I mean, see how many scratches I have got in little time. And its lucky I have not fallen down again after I did first time." “My skins to tough for sticks to break.” He muttered stepping on a log so hard his foot snapped it in two as if it were a normal twig. "So exactly where are we heading "And how long it will take to go back to Hogwarts?", "No, I am not complaining. I know I should be grateful and I am that you are helping me. But just out of curiosity, how long will it take?" Shadow was growing weary of her speaking quickly, “You ask to many questions…where I come from, we don’t ask questions we let others tell.” He muttered half annoyed. “we are just heading back down here to my cave.” It wasn’t exactly to his cave, it was Johns. But Shadow had moved in since, ”I will be staying there until the sun lowers.” He replied. It was still so early in the day, the sun wouldn’t’ come down for hours. “so your stuck with me and John till then.” He muttered stepping over the cracked log and holding out his hand for the second time.

“You ask to many questions…where I come from, we don’t ask questions we let others tell.”
"Too many?" Koyal's voice sounded slightly hurt, "But I just ask a little bit. It wasn't that much, was it? And not too difficult to answer either. And that too just out of curiosity. Now tell me honestly, how much have I spoken since we met? A little bit, isn't it? Asking a question or two surely is not that irritating, is it?"
“we are just heading back down here to my cave.”
"You have got a cave?" Koyal asked, surprised. "Interesting," she added, "But what will you do there?" Another question.
”I will be staying there until the sun lowers. so your stuck with me and John till then.”
Koyal's eyes at once shot at the sky. The little bit of sky visible through the thick canopy of leaves overhead was still blue, and golden rays falling through trees clearly showed it was too much time left for the sun set. "But it might take hours," she was not able to hide the complaining tone, even though she knew she was not in a position to complain. She had asked him for help, and he could easily ask her to go away if she don't like it. But the idea of staying inside a cave for this long.
"Who is this John?" she asked, taking his hand to step over the log. "Thank you," she added.

[o]"Too many?" , "But I just ask a little bit. It wasn't that much, was it? And not too difficult to answer either. And that too just out of curiosity. Now tell me honestly, how much have I spoken since we met? A little bit, isn't it? Asking a question or two surely is not that irritating, is it?" [/i] Shadow rolled his eyes,"You should try listening to how much you are saying, instead of 'one' question you ask three of four, more then what i ask." he muttered the last part and turned his head.
"You have got a cave?" "Interesting," "But what will you do there?" He sighed and shook his head, fridge fell infront of his black/ brown rimmed eyes. "try take a guess what Vamps do when the suns up huh." he muttered turning back looking ahead they weren't to far away, he reconized the area they were walking in.
"But it might take hours," "then find your own way back!" "Who is this John?" He sighed, smiling slightly at the thought of John he was Shadow lover and always will be even if John wasn't a Vampire. they were working out there ways around that problem slowly. "my partner." he muttered and kept moving. slowly they came to a clearing, he as always ignored her questions and voice.
"Shadow!" he heard a small girls voice from in the cave, Shadow smiled and stepped forwards out of the darkness and a girl about 11 years old came out of the cave a big happy grinn on her face, it fell when she saw Koyal and she sighly took another two steps back. "Whos that?" she asked sounding grumpy, Shadow smiled. "Green, this is a...friend, i met in the forrest her names Koyal. I thought she would play with you untill nightfall." he said stepping towards Green.
Green thought Shadow was her older brother, that they shared the same father. but really Shadow was Greens father. it was just Green new nothing of the magical world and Shadow planed to keep it that way forever. but right now him and John where taking care of her in the forrst untill they could find someone sutable to care for her. Green looked shyly at Koyal,"Hello." se muttered with a thick english accent eyes on the ground. Shadows eyes scanned the cave,"where is John, Green?" he asked frowning. "John said he's going away for a while." Green replyed. Shadows insides twsited. "what!..did he leave a note?" he demanded, Green nodded and Shadow swept into the cave scanning the note. he sighed with releife,"he's goneon a trip to find some more cooking ingredence" he smiled.

"You should try listening to how much you are saying, instead of 'one' question you ask three of four, more then what i ask."
Koyal's mouth fell open. "Thats not fair," she complained, "Fine, I won't speak a word anymore, happy?" she snapped at him, but continued talking to herself. "I, speak too much? Thats completely nonsense! When do I speak? I hardly ever say anything! It really really not fair.." she continued speaking to herself. She glared at him as he said "then find your own way back!" "I don't think so," she said, "You are a prefect, its your duty to help a lost student. Now either help me or chuck away that badge you have got from the school. Why take the responsibility when not able to fulfill it?" She was very annoyed. 'If we would have been in the castle ground then I would have given you a real proper answer!' she thought angrily.
"my partner."
"What do you mean exactly when you say 'partner'?" she asked. And her mouth never completely stayed shut for long through all their way to the cave. Her temper rose when she did not got answers. She hated being ignored. "Excuse me, Mr. Cooper, I am talking to you," she said finally when they had reached the cave. She looked at the girl who has came there. "Hello Green," she said brightly. But frowned as Cooper said where John had gone.
"God! Where have I landed myself?" she muttered as she sat down outside the cave, staring at the forest floor with frustration.
