Colleen stepped into her classroom fashionably late. She knew
the other professors were already here and already teaching. But she was
in Hawaii and in no way she was going to leave early. It was just so
beautiful there. But the brunette had to leave to come back to Hogwarts.
Seriously, it was like she never left. Well she kind of didn't as she was just a
student here two years ago.
Gazing around the old boring room, she groaned, nothing had changed.
Thinking to herself a bit, she flicked her wand at the floor then windows.
Magically of course, the floor went from that horribly cold stone to a deep
hard wood floor and the curtains on the windows turned to a deep red
instead of the tattering black ones. The windows were cleaned as well bring
light into the class room. Colleen found that this could actually be a place
that she would enjoy coming to.
Being a fairly young teacher scared her a bit and there wasn't much that
scared Colleen. How we're her students going to treat her for being so
young and she almost looked liked like them in a way. Colleen had made a
goal for herself as a teacher. She was going to fun but serious when she
needed to be. And what better way to start off the course with fun and
excitement than Boggarts. She grinned at the large wardrobe her teachers
had used in the past.
Collleen now sat on her desk with a designer dark green turtleneck and a
black pencil skirt on as she waited for her students to file in. She watched in
an amused fashion as she watched Gryffindors joked among themselves,
Ravenclaws clenched their books close to him, Slytherin's either sneered at
her or check out her to her disgust and Hufflepuffs quietly sat down.
Nothing much had changed since she left, Colleen noted to herself. As the
last student ran in, the door shut on it's own and she smiled at her class.
"Well here goes nothing." She though to herself. With a deep breathe, she
began the class.
In a nervous habit of playing with her dark brown wavy hair, Colleen was
frigthened she would rub off the wrong way like she usually did but she was
trying her best. She started her lesson as she told the students, "Hello
Class. I'm Professor Alexander but you may call me Colleen if you want. I
don't like the term Professor, it makes me feel old. I know where starting off
the class late so this lesson is just going to be the cramming of all the things
I should have taught you in the last two lessons plus this one." She heard
many students groan and she just grinned, "I wouldn't do that to you guys.
Today's class is going to be rather fun." Walking up to the wardrobe that
sat in the middle of the class room, Colleen leaned on it, "We are going to
learn about Boggarts today and even be able to meet on up close. But first,
can anyone tell me what a Boggart is?"
